 Perfect Portrait

ISO 3200, f 4.5 and Shutter Speed 1/250
What I love about these photos is that the expressions, its honest and true. You can tell she loves dancing and is an outgoing person. And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt, but asou can you can see she has no self-doubt. This generation people have gotten way to serious and need to have a little fun before its to late. I truly think that's what they should do as everyone says live life to the fullest. I'm going to end with my favourite quote by William W. Purkey:
"You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.”

The reason behind this photo is that I wanted to get up and personal to examine her features. What I found was a girl who loves to daydream. As I always say day dreaming is an escape from reality and a place or fantasy that nothing can stop you from expressing your feelings and doing whatever you like. As you can see in the photo she is smiling but yet her eyes seem as if she isn't there. You get ideas from daydreaming. You get ideas from being bored. You get ideas all the time. I took this picture at a time where I thought she was at her naturalist moment. The end result I got her when she was in deep thought. Some may say at a time where you're there but yet some where else.

Multiple Exposure

This multiple exposure shows that people can have fun on rainy days and do things they enjoy. In the photo you see Claire acting freely and posing near trees and bushes. Its almost like watching her dance on a rainy day. As we all know: "when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow".

The main reason I love this photographer is because I could relate to his pictures. Since I am an African Canadian, I can relate by knowing what these people in the pictures are feeling and what the photographer's message is. I honestly love just knowing that a black photographer can do great things and I truly think Jules photos are remarkable for their very raw and very real sense of beauty. For example, the Black Bodies applauds the black woman for the 'freedom' she personifies. There are no ornate props-just natural, raw beauty.Back when my parents lived in Africa to be more specific Somalia, it was really hard because of the poverty and all but it wasn't always like that. Seeing Jules photos made me realize that not everything in reality is perfect and people need to open there eyes and see things for what they are.
